Barrel Racers

Hello Barrel Racers,

Hopefully I can clear up some concerns and questions you may have
regarding the “JDP Classic”.

  • First – We are not affiliated, connected or approved by any other organization or individuals.
  • Second – We want most of all to present a showcase where you can show your horses for sale to a built in barrel horse crowd.
  • Third – We have two large outdoor arenas – one is strictly a time-only arena. The other is for the races and also time-only’s if time permits. Time-only’s may be pre-booked at five dollars for three minutes. Time only’s will start Thursday at 4 p.m. and continue right into
Sunday for as long as you need them.
  • Fourth – Payout for the 5D Races on Friday and Saturday.
    1D – 20% - 4 places. 2D – 20% - 4 places. 3D – 20% - 4 places.
    4D – 20% - 4 places. 5D – 20% - 4 places.
Payout for the 3D Carseland Lions Barrel Horse Raffle on Sunday.
    1D – 40% - 4 places. 2D – 30% – 4 places. 3D – 30% - 4 places.
  • Fifth – It is not a requirement to have a raffle ticket to enter your
horse on Sunday. You may have a raffle ticket and enter also.
If you are the raffle ticket winner you may pick your own horse
and keep the $30,000.00 or pick any other horse you desire.
  • Sixth – There is no charge for setting up portable panels or electric fences.
  • Friday & Saturday there will be a seven tenth split.
  • Sunday there will be a 1 second split.

So, please come, ride hard, have fun and good luck to everybody!

Thanks,
Lee Phillips
